Summer Reading!

Hello fellow readers! Since summer is approaching, I thought I’d share a book that I think would be an excellent book to read under the sun this year. It’s called “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte. “Jane Eyre” is a classic book about a girl growing up in England. A book that takes place in Victorian era England always catches my attention!

I just finished reading it a few weeks ago, and it’s one of my new favorite books! I’d like to say that “Jane Eyre” has officially made the “High Honor Bookshelf” in my room. (this bookshelf is only for the best books I’ve read)

Go to your local bookstore and give “Jane Eyre” a read! :)

Magnificient March Reading

Hello readers! I recently read an amazing book, and I thought I’d share it with you. It’s called “Seraphina”, by Rachel Hartman. It’s about a girl who’s secretly a half dragon. For me, anything that has dragons, castles, and adventure in it, is perfect.

Visit to the Willard School in Sanford, Maine

Hello all! Yesterday, I went to visit the Willard School in Sanford, Maine. I gave a poetry presentation and played a little of my violin. I had lots of fun with the students! Everyone was so enthusiastic, and everyone wrote amazing poems. Also, a little special surprise for me was that the school marquee, said “Welcome Hannah Wirth”. That’s a first! :) Overall, I thoroughly loved coming to the Willard School.  Keep writing and reading poetry!

I’d like to thank the students for the spectacular package of “Thank you” notes that I recieved today! I read all 48 of them aloud to my mom. It was amazing to read the letters and to feel how sincere they were. I appreciate each and every one of the notes! :)

Joyful June Reading

Hello to all!

If you are looking for a spectacular book to read this summer, I recommend “Sweetly” by Jackson Pearce. It is a modern twist on the fairy tale “Hansel and Gretel”. Full of action and mystery. I was on the edge of my seat finishing the book!

April: National Poetry Month!

Hello poetry fans! In case you didn’t know, April is National Poetry Month.

My favorite poems are “Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening”, “Stars”, and “Birches” all by Robert Frost. Robert Frost used visual imagery in his poetry. I personally love that about his poems. Also, I like how when reading Robert Frost’s poems, it sounds like he is talking to you.

What are some of your favorite poems and poets?
